Cain Carroll

Born in Hollywood (1973), Cain expressed unusual inklings at an early age. He received his first training in spiritual inquiry and meditation from his mother at age 5 and began formal training in Judo, quiet sitting, the Way of Conduct, at the local Japanese cultural center at age 13.

In university, Cain studied Intercultural Communication. Outside of class, he immersed himself in the study and practice of Zen, yoga, and natural medicine. Upon graduation, he underwent a year-long pilgrimage in South America to study animism, principles of shamanic healing, qigong, and engaged Daoist philosophy.

At age 26, he co-authored his first book, Partner Yoga: Making Contact for Physical, Emotional & Spiritual Growth and later published Mudras of India and The Four Dignities. Through his 30s – 40s, Cain directed yoga schools in Arizona and continued his study and practice of yoga, Buddhism, ceremonial tea, and Daoist self-cultivation with master teachers in India, China, Thailand, Tibet, Nepal, and USA. He leads trainings and retreats globally and enjoys sharing coaching work with private clients.
